Description

Vulkardan L couplings from Vulkan Couplings are especially developed with advanced features to be used in various applications with cardan shafts. Cardan shafts are employed when distances to be traveled are long or the machine being driven is not in line with the prime mover. The Vulkardan L is a highly flexible coupling that can shift resonances and dampen the torsional vibration when a diesel engine is used as the prime mover.

The cardan shaft and the machinery being driven is guarded from undesirable vibratory loads through these couplings. Oppositely-supported inner and outer coupling parts and a flexible element are the main components of L couplings.
