In the agricultural field, the power take-off shaft, also known as
Cardan shaft, Is the main cause of farm-related accidents leading to death, dismemberment and serious injury.Power take-offs are used to transfer power from a power source to another machine, such as from a tractor to a pump. The PTO shaft rotates at 540 rpm or higher, so it is very dangerous without shielding and without chain.All PTO shafts should be safely shielded and linked.
