PTO shaft On King Kurt
King Kutter is an industrial-scale finishing deck mower for commercial landscaping.It is usually used for mowing fields, golf courses or highway barriers. King Kutter is a towed (or tool) harvester that is connected to the rear of the tractor through a power take-off (PTO) connection. The PTO shaft on the King Cutter is a rod that engages with the cutting blade underneath the lawn mower deck.If it is bent or damaged, it must be removed and replaced with a new one
1. Separate the tractor power take-off from the end power take-off connector on the King Kutter.To do this, use pliers to pull out the locking pin and pull the two PTOs apart.
2. Pull the tractor away from the King Kutter deck so that you have working space.
3. Use a pipe wrench to remove the PTO shaft shell end cover of the PTO end connected to the tractor.
4. Use the socket kit to remove the fixing bolt that holds the PTO end under the cutting table, where it engages with the blade clutch.
5. Slide the old PTO shaft out of the shaft housing, and then slide the new shaft in.Tighten the fixing bolt connecting the end of the PTO and the vane clutch.
6. Use a pipe wrench to replace the end cap of the PTO traction connection end.
7. Rewind and connect the tractor
PTO shaft Link to the PTO link of King Kutter and slide the locking pin into place.
